Kia ora and welcome to Te Kura Kaiwhakawā | Institute of Judicial Studies (Te Kura)

Te Kura is the education arm of the judiciary. We provide judicial education to New Zealand judges to support them throughout their careers. We also support judicial education in the Pacific through the Pacific Justice Sector Programme.

Te Kura's whakataukī and tohu on a dark navy background. The whakataukī reads: Ākona kia tika, whāngaia kia pono, ruia ki te motu. Kia āta whakawā mārire i tēnā, i tēnā / Teach the learner to be just, educate them to be true, and dispense this learning to the nation, so all may be judged with due care.
